The Oxford Dynamic EQ plug-in gives you the best of both worlds — the precision of a static EQ, and the responsiveness and flexibility of a multiband processor. It also lets you dynamically shape the tone of your music without any of the phase artifacts or latency issues common to multiband compressors.

Shape with Fully Overlapping Bands

Unlike multiband compressors, which use crossovers to rigidly split up the frequency spectrum, the Oxford Dynamic EQ’s five frequency bands can overlap fluidly, giving you greater flexibility for both character modification and corrective processing.

Get Precise with Onset Detection

Set the EQ processing to be triggered by transients with Onset Detection, and get a new level of precision for boosting or cutting percussive sources and even for controlling vocal sibilance.

    Perfect replacement.

    Tired of waves always updating and making me pay for the updates to use the latest version. Was looking for a replacement for their F6 eq. This here!!!… Awesome! On point and exactly like it and sounds superb. All my replacement plug ins are complete and I’m extremely satisfied!!!

    i prefer this to native

    who'd like a native sonnox (ilok) version for $30?

    i want to switch to uad dsp version - turns out it's more compatible with my software.

    soundwise i go for uad too (yes, there is a bug in certain native versions - perhaps already fixed - where same settings yeld different results)

    Too much DSP...

    Sound really good, but may a little outdated. Needs a lot of DSP from my Apollo twin. Thus the native is a better buy if you really need it.

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

This refers to the number of SHARC DSP processors in Apollo and UAD-2 hardware. A DUO core system has twice the amount of processing power compared to a SOLO core system. More SHARC DSP cores increases the number of UAD-2 plug-ins you can run on the hardware.

No, Satellites provide DSP to run UAD-2 plug-ins in your DAW.

Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details.
