Easily Season your Mixes with Powerful EQ Curves

The Dangerous BAX EQ Plug-In Collection is a powerful tool for shaping and enhancing the tonality and character of your music. Designed as a “finishing EQ,” the BAX EQ Collection is an authentic plug-in emulation of this studio staple.

What They Say

The Dangerous BAX EQ is my new favorite box to put across my whole mix. It lets me achieve that modern pop brightness without any of the usual sibilance or harshness. The super low-end is fat without being muddy.

Fab Dupont

Shakira, Santigold, Jennifer Lopez

The Dangerous BAX EQ is unlike anything you have heard, but exactly like what you’ve been looking for.

Phil Demetro

Paul Anka, Our Lady Peace, Enter the Haggis

I want the Dangerous BAX EQ for the 84 Hz band alone. While test-driving the prototype I got addicted to it. It gives me a ‘foot’ like no other EQ I have does.

Dave Kutch

Justin Timberlake, Talib Kweli, The Roots

Dangerous Music BAX EQ is fantastic makes my masters sound fantastic.

On a master, I used the Capital mastering compressor, Marley and added the Dangerous Music BAX EQ. It bought out the High-end and added that sizzle to the sound missing from my mastering. It made my masters sound like they were done in a mastering studio.

Dangerous Music BAX EQ is a real game changer. It added the icing on the cake.

    Clean, Clear, Perfect Finishing Tool

Wow- Great plug! I've got a world class solo piano audio path with Yamaha C7 and C6 plus DPA 4003 and Josephson 617 mics and Millennia Media hardware. SSL and Millennia TCL2 on the finish post of mixing. THEN, this BAX on the first of plugs for mastering. Smoking little plug- really bring out what a world class solo piano recording should sound like. Great piano tracks are fussy to achieve. This plug is a great finishing tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.

This refers to the number of SHARC DSP processors in Apollo and UAD-2 hardware. A DUO core system has twice the amount of processing power compared to a SOLO core system. More SHARC DSP cores increases the number of UAD-2 plug-ins you can run on the hardware.

No, Satellites provide DSP to run UAD-2 plug-ins in your DAW.

Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.

UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorisation of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
