Another UPLIFT, MOJO enhancer
I already owned one of the other tape plug-ins, but this one has more options, especially in changing the tape types. It takes up the same amount of processing power, so no advantage there, but still. You don't need all the tape plug-ins, you can go with this one if you want a few more options, but the other, slightly cheaper one, could also work.
Whether I put it on some instruments/tracks, or on the master track, it does what it's supposed to, which is give me more options to fuse the sound of the whole thing and uplift the tune and its mojo just that bit more...

An amazing recreation of an amazing compressor
UAD did it again! They absolutely nailed it out of the park when they modeled this plugin. There's a reason this compressor can be found in most major studios and now UAD has made it so that you can have it at an affordable price in your personal studio.

The smile maker
Set the Pultec to a smiley face curve and it will put a smile on your face. Takes a minute to understand, but once you get it, you’ll reach for it often.

Fantastic plugin all around.
So glad this is native. This sounds great on everything, is incredibly flexible, and has multiple functions. Aside from the compression itself (which can be extremely subtle or strong), the saturation from the different distortion modes is often something I’ll reach for. Speaking of which, it should be noted that this isn’t a transparent compressor: there’s a lot of color. Highly recommend trying the demo to see if you like it.

Like the hardware
Ive been using the hardware for 20 years, but didn't use this emulation until the native version dropped. Sounds as good as you could possibly expect and definitely captures the spirit of the analog unit. At the very least it allows me to match recordings made seay from the hardware. Thumbs up.

I'm no keyboard player by any stretch but I have used many B3 emulators and this is by far the most realistic. It's very simple to use especially with the number of presets available. Easy to find the right sound and easy to play. I wouldn't even begin to compare this to the real thing in functionality but sound wise, I can't tell a difference between a real B3 and the plug-in.
