Just the best plugin emulation!
This plug-in is awesome! I have the Universal audio 6176 and it is amazing how close the compressor plug-in is. What's even nicer with the plug-in collection is now I have several different 1176 modeled editions which makes it very useful for all types of material. This is a must in your toolbox.

Sweet
It amazed me from the second I loaded it on to an acoustic guitar track! It fit like a glove and imparted a natural gut sound that I never knew could be captured! Sweet!

LA2A Wonderful!
This is by far the best LA2A plugin emulation on the market. I like the analog vibe these plugins add to my tracks! This is a must have for Vocal's, Bass, Guitar, and just about anything you throw at it.

Sold 2 of my kids to buy this... and it was worth it!!
My kids never worked as hard as this compressor does... It's a shame that it doesn't make me coffee. But other than that - no complaints at all. Would do it all over again!!!!
It sounds great on Drums (if you feel your song even needs those loud things), vocals (male, female, and mermaids too), kazoo, Stereo bus, Greyhound Bus... really just about anything. I even loaded the Fairchild on an empty channel and started dancing in the studio. I have to be honest - my dancing skills improved immensely. It was truly a sight to behold. The heavens were moved by the moves coming from my barely clothed body.
So needless to say, you can't go wrong with this plugin! You won't regret it. And neither will your soulmate/lover.

WOW...just WOW
I am not going to lie....With all the hype around the ATR 102 (which I bought about the same time). I assumed the A800 would be slightly less impressive. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The A800 is amazing!!! What it does to the low end in phenomenal!!! The luxury of not dealing with an actual tape machine makes the world (and my projects) a better place :)
I do however wish that Oxide was includes in the bundle :(

From the moment I plugged in and got the Fairchild up and running I was a very happy camper. Thank you UA you did it again all my UA products helps to make my recordings stand out.

serious compressor
Perhaps the first plugin compressor I've used with total confidence. It's a clear enhancement to the legacy version and I use it a lot when tracking synths. Haven't tried the 1176 yet, but this one's a keeper.

instant fatness
until recently the AMPEX has been my go-to tape plugin. since i purchased the Oxide tape i tend to use this one more often. it´s easier and to use and eats less DSP power. i must admit the roundness and fatness this tape emulation delivers is probably far off from what a real tape recorder would do. but who cares: this Oxide plugin thing gives me that instant fatness thing. one of my favourite UAD plug-ins.

La-2a
Was never really a big fan of the la2a in general. I usually reach for something with a little more character, like an 1176. But surprisingly, the la-2 is becoming a more common plugin in my work place because it actually adds a character to the sound that i feel is lost on the new 2a's

Authentic colour and performance
These really sound and respond like vintage 1176s, and for me the jump in quality and character was worth the upgrade from the legacy 1176 which came bundled with my interface. And that one was pretty nice to start with.

Great upgrade...
... from the legacy ones. Always have this on bass now and it's great for bg vox as well! Very fun to play with the different models which has different responses to the tracks. Great to record with for instance the grey one and track with the silver model.

So much better than Waves!
Lives on my drum tracks and great for rock vocals. Like the AE-version best. The difference from the legacy ones are super well worth the purchase!

Can't track drums without it now but for me it really, really shines on vocals. Sweet sounding tape compression! Love it!

So Much Punch
I love the sound of this plugin collection. Ever since I have purchased it, it has been a huge part of my production and mixes. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that the 1176 collection will add value to you as an engineer.
