Great Plugin...

Good as you can get with digital.
I’ve been tracking exclusively on a 2” ampex mm1100 machine for the last 4 years and this plug in has helped de-stabilize my “tape or die” mentality.
It sounds great. Hard to tell if it’s tape or not, but more importantly, brings some of the lushness I associate with tape to the digital stage.
Especially love it on drums and bass.

Studer® A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder - Became LUNA
I kept having this idea why isn't a DAW like recording to Tape, Studer, Ampex, etc that all have remarkable ranges and avenues for sonic invention. Along came LUNA.
Unfortunately for me I have no cheese grater MAC, but I use this in console on my old iMac and it is so Fantastic!! thank- you.

One of my favourites, absolutely spot on the hardware. This is a very special plugin, some time has definitely been spent here. One of the best compressors in a plug in available. I find myself pulling up this software for pop production constantly, and if you're on the hunt for some LA vocal sheen, this is it folks. Transparent, open, punchy... all the key factors that we all look for on a pop production....My word..what a hit.

Versatile compressor, can't go wrong on drums
I've used this on just about every drum bus since I've gotten it. Works well for vocals too.

Bus and mix enhancer
Love using these as gluing tools. I mainly use these on drum busses, vocal tracks, and stereo bus. Hard-pressed to find a mix where I don't use one of these nowadays.

I wish I had gotten this sooner
The first thought I had when I started using this EQ in my mixes was about how much time I had been wasting with other compressors. Keeps it simple and not too harsh.

I started out recording to tape in the studios at school. Over the years I have used the many tape-like saturation plugins and this tape emulation just feels right! It smooths out the vocals, it adds a bump to the bass at 15 ips! It sounds very familiar to the analogue workflow and characteristics that I started on. It's become a staple on every mix in some form.
