Awesome
A pure plate and simple but awesome sounding reverb. Works perfect as a guitar reverb.

It's all true!
All the great things you've heard about this plugin, are true! Musical, weighty, powerful yet diverse. Great sound!
.
Magic!
The sound you get from this makes it hard to resist putting it on everything! Incredibly musical EQ. It's happy being subtle or in your face. Love it!
.
A must have!
The crunch and weight this emulation gives is subtle yes, but essential.

Warm saturated glue
The Studer plug in is one I use on just about every track I run. Using less DSP than the amped (I use only on the bus), it helps glue everything together and gives it that beautiful warm saturated tone that you buy the UA gear for. The ability to chain them together is phenomenal as well. Should be one of the first UA plugins you buy.

Great Plug-In
I was sceptical ... but I'm a fan of this Plug-In. It sounds as natural as a digital approach of a classic analogue Tape Echo can sound. I'm not a huge fan of the Tape old and new settings though ... In my opinion that's where the limit of digital is for «used tape» – but maybe time and some other projects will prove me wrong ...

Manley Preamp Is great!
A smooth, creamy tube preamp with high headroom.
We put the Manley preamp before our Api Vision Channel strip when we a wanted a smoother, creamy tube effect going into the punchy API for further processing for a more sophisticated, ballad-style, vocal chain.
It also is very useful to add clean to mildly saturated sound as an additional amplifying gain stage following a different preamp in the Unison slot in the vocal chain for powering a Sm-7b without a cloud lifter. It has a large VU helpful to set levels going into the next plug even set to a clean boost. Very useful for example for raising levels to go into a Studer tape plug-in to or higher levels to go into a Fairchild at the sweet spots.

great plugin
I just used the Avalon as a unison plugin in a vocal session. I didn't have time to do much tweaking. Luckily the presets were great and suited my needs! I'm looking forward to diving deeper with this preamp.

Favorite Preamp
I own the neve preamp, the Avalon and a bunch of others. I’ve taken the time twice to A/B all of them and this one stands out to my ears. I am specifically working with pop for what it’s worth. It provides lots of gain for quiet vocals and is clear as a bell. It is now my go-to.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Loving it on vocals and acoustic guitar. Holds it all together.
