I'm finding that I can't have any production without these on now.
Mixing ITB needs plugins like this, they add so much character and elasticity to sounds it's unreal. Any genre would benefit from the touches of this!

Really love this batch of LA2A's. Each has it's own unique, but subtle, sonic character. Much more bold sounding than any other emulation so far!!!

Awesome Tape sim
This is a great plugin tape emulator. It can add a nice hifi warmth like a high end tape machine, or a nasty, distorted cassette type sound, and lots in between. It livens up drums nicely for me, and also works on guitars and the 2 buss when working with certain types of music.

These things clamp down on anything! Well worth the price. Love the 2:1 ratio on the AE version.

This set of compressors is just amazing! I was using the legacy ones but as soon I try this collection I decided to purchase it. They work fantastic in any source you want to use them.

Can almost more than any imitation LA2A plugin,
Sound is very full, injected with Analog to color
Especially low-frequency elastic, is unable to find the other plug-ins.

Not a quality reverb
Normal quality reverb, and the hardware is not the same level,
No lexicon224 taste, feel, and excellent.
Designers do not know that the idea of ??vintage lexicon
I look forward to UAD can design excellent reverb,
You know reverb plugin has always been the biggest weakness

well i love the 670 mostly on drums and as a stereo dynamics mangling tool...
it is great to achieve nice punch and definition to percussive sounds and to add a tube like warmth and saturation
the new 660 is a great addition when more simpler task is at hand

Pultec Passive EQ Collection
This is my first experience of UA, and I was intending being a bit selective about plug ins, as I have some great outboard already.
I got an Apollo Quad because it really suits our current scenario.
Did a test tracking using a miked guitar, with LA2A (plug in) on the way in.
On play back we used the Pultec EQ collection (bought via the voucher) in a few pre set scenarios.
Viola, in Cubase 7.5, that's ALL playback required.
We use the highest spec iMac , transmitting via Tbolt.
Cubase' s performance meter was static!
Very impressed A. With the sound quality. B. With the extra horsepower UAD will ultimately provide larger productions with. And C. It just looks so sexy, and doesn't absorb rack space.
Now, back to the store!!!

Great Tool!
I used the demo in different cases like to give some color on the master of a view tracks, to thicken up some tracks in the mix and to ad distortion and artefacts to special instruments to sound like an old tape.
This all worked great and so i decided to by this plugin.
I think all UAD Plugins are a little expansive, but they are one of the best i've ever seen!
Buy it and go tapy!

Amazingly Warm on Synth and vocal !!!!
I have been interested by the Manley since I heard that Todd Terje wanted one.
UAD offered a great emulation, I tried the demo on a PAD synth patch and after boosting the high and the mid in different mode I couldn't believe how much it was sounding good, it's so musical, warm. And if you are looking for some extra colour to bring more life to your sound, it's one way to go.
The Manley strength is amazing and powerful EQ for high, mid or low frequency, I used it on synth to add more clarity warmth and depth.
Unfortunately this plugins is very heavy in DSP, there is no SE version, it's the reason to rate 4/5.
I used it recently on a male vocal recording to add more body, it helped to get a fat voice recorded in inappropriate conditon
