My dream Reverb has become reality!
A loyal Lexicon user for many years. I never thought I could afford or own a reverb of this quality! Now I do!!! I swear it sounds good on pretty much anything! UA has done it again! Very happy customer!!

Best plugin I've ever owned!
It's just great. So clear and detailed. it really gives you the feel of analog sound,
the gate works perfectly and it's great on snare and bass drums! The compressor is outstanding but never invasive, great on overheads and drums. the Eq sounds amazing!
perfect to shape every instrument and make them stand out of the mix!
But the real thing is.. try to mix a whole song with the Vision Channelstrip and and then compare it with any other of your work!! You won't believe it!

I'm very happy with this plugin. It's my go to plugin for Drums Bass Acoustic Guitars some vocal stuff. I've been very happy with the results! Great job UA!

Add the 1A with default settings and it imparts a very pleasing, saturated tone to the overall sound of a mix without disturbing EQ. Of course there are many other uses but I really like this so much, I use it on everything now.

Impressive
Of course, I read the reviews before purchasing the LA-2A collection, of course it encouraged me to purchase it, of course I was confident knowing the extreme quality of UA products, of course I'm not a pro, neither mastering engineer nor HFO, of course one could considere that I'm not sufficient an expert to write a review, of course I never used the hardware equivalent BUT what I can tell you is that with these plugins, my music sounds soooooo well! so, what else?

Definitely a must have in the arsenal, it helps to add that desired character, punch and cut through the mix sweet compression that my tracks love!

really great hardware reference
the MP is probably my favorite hardware unit ever, and i'm fortunate to have periodic access to one (periodic being the operative word). does this plug replace it? no, but it's close. if you take it just as an eq plug without direct comparison to the hardware it's wonderful, if a bit cpu hungry, but given that UA did a great job modeling the way the units curves behave and interact i use it to set up busses in my mixes intending to later be bounced through the hardware without having to go back, tweak, and re-render so many times when things build in a band. still, even when i never get around to that (it happens) the emulation still sounds fab in a final mix

Lexicon 224 Review
I have had a good 3-4 years doing some score work at a studio that has a hardware Lexicon 224. When I first started using it, I found it to be harsh and unnatural. then I realized that its more of a Aux effect than a insert.
UAD did a excellent job on this plug in. I actually called up some of my old drum mixes, which I had done with the hardware and compared it to some of the sounds I'm getting now. Spot on! Like most UAD plug ins, even if the hardware was sitting on top of my mixing desk, I'd would likely just go with the plug in.
Highly recommend this to any that have experience with this unit. Again this isn't your "workhorse" reverb that you can use on everything but it does what it does very well!

My GO TO for mastering
Im late to this review, but Ive owned this plug for over 3 years now and it took my masters to the next level. I now slap it on the end of all of my chains (right before the limiter) and it does beautiful things to mixes.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL
I PURCHASED THESE 2 PLUG FROM MY COMPUTER CENTRAL AND I THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE AUTHORIZATION SECONDARY STATION.
I HAVE SENT SEVERAL TRANSFER AGENT FOR PERMITS A POSITION ON THE OTHER BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ANSWERED.
PLEASE GIVE ME THE PROCEDURE TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM;

Wonderful EQ Sound
The Sound of the Manley EQ is wonderful but unfortunately it takes about 70% of my UAD Solo card and therefore need a long time to render.

I love the pultec eq sound, you can never go wrong with it even if you don't turn the knobs.the new collection sounds even better, geart low end, the highs always sounds right.it gives the source that professional and rich sound.
