VOX in a BOX
I still end-up dialing in a better sound on vocals with the VOXBOX. Especially with male vocals. The warmth and DeEssing/Compressing all right there in the box is awesome! This is one of UAD's best. Beautiful, Wide and Lush Chorus
The Dimension D adds a beautiful and lush chorus to pretty much any source material. The processor is great for subtly widening and thickening lead vocal tracks or to add a rich and wide layer to background vocals. The similarities to the Roland Dimension D are obvious, not just visually but also sonically. No matter under what name and brand this processor is listed it remains a super useful tool in a mixer's arsenal.

3 Massive passive incarnation ins software
one from NI, one for Focusrite Liquid-Mix and one for UAD-2. Liquid-mix doesn't take into account band interaction.I prefer this, when using more than one band of EQ'ing. The UAD-2 is the only one endorsed by Manley. Must be doing something right !

Great on kick
I didn't really understand the love for the Pultec until I tried the boost/attenuate trick on a weakish kick. Instant thump.
The high boost works great for synth and keyboard parts you want to cut through. The filters are useful as well (especially automated).
I would definitely recommend.

Great upgrade to legacy plus extras
Like all mkII upgrades the Pulteq EQ collection is a very nice upgrade over the legacy version. A bit more depth and character with the new version, though I still use the legacy on some sources. The filter is the sleeper plugin in this bundle. Don't have another filter that can so dramatically alter the frequency response while retaining and even sweetening the source material.

Glue you mixes together....
Without having to hassle with the storage of analog tape or align your heads etc. etc. This plug in produces amazing Sonic qualities that help glue your mixes together. You can drive it hard for effect or just add subtle hints of analog tape sound. This is an awesome plug-in.

Squishy goodness
This is a must have for all studios. Tremendous job replicating the original vintage compressors and limiters. These show up on most of my tracks on every mix and I use them to track on the front end as well. If you do not have these you should save to make this your next purchase.
