Returning back in time...
It's fascinating how the 70's sound is more than vintage it's now a premium. Do I wish for my spring and plate reverbs back? No. I have this! Nice work UAD.

Essayé une première fois et je n'avais pas été convaincu, j'ai lancé une seconde fois la démo. Je l'adore sur les drums, il apporte une légère coloration douce et merveilleuse. Essayé aussi sur des pianos, et guitares. Vraiment un bel outil qui augment les aiguës avec douceurs et arrondit les "sub" très joliment. Merci

One Word...Impressive
I have only had the opportunity to work with this compressor on a few sessions and I have never used the real hardware but, what I can tell you is, it is flexible, it is extremely versatile and it sounds great on everything I've used it on, from drum bus to vocals to parallel compression on the 2 buss. I was able to dial in exactly what was needed. Awesome doesn't cover it. Impressive!

This plugin works great. I love the compressor especially. Very characteristic of API console strip. It adds a flexibility you can't get with outboard gear due to cost and physical space.

Only have one complaint...
As soon as I picked up Oxide I tried it on an acoustic guitar track.... Stunningly beautiful detail it added! Very 3 dimensional warmth it added.... my only complaint.... I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT SOONER!! Thanks UA, another winner!!

Oxide- Best tracking tape sim
Amazing toy. I would use atr-102 on a mixbuss or more complex tasks but for the purpose of working on individual tracks it's just super and much more musically effective than other tape sims. Don't let the simple interface and restricted number of controls trick you because you can really go from subtle warmth to heavy crushing with it. Recommended.

Upgrade now!
If you already have the legacy version and like me were very underwhelmed do yourself a BIG favour and get the full version. Yes it may seem a bit tight of UA to charge what they do for the upgrade but you'll be so glad you did. Like all UA plugins the warmth and analog feel is totally unbeatable unless you're lucky enough to own the real HW version, even so I've used the HW version and I'm hard pushed to hear the difference. I've given it 5 stars as it doesn't go up to 10! Cracking job once again UA.

You can be broad like a painter.....or laser focused like a surgeon with the power of this plug in. Could never afford the hardware versions....this is the next best thing - I don't think most people can tell the difference!!

te da ese pegamento o no se que ,que nadie sabe explicar en el sonido de un tema, definitivamente lo uso y usare en cada mezcla, se volvio un basico de mi sonido, lo recomiendo ampliamente
