Pleasantly Surprised
I never used the Hardware version of these and I was not expecting much beside another 1176 type of compressor, but no they do have their own character, and i do use em white a bit.

Love at first sight....
This reverb-plugin is the best I ever had. No strange sounding clouds, but a magic help for every dry tone. I´m lucky to work with such a useful - and inspiring - "instrument".

No expectation but plug salvation
Yes, I just admit : I did not really know the Avalon and was not planning to spend money and time to find out but after a while and a nice offer I did. I was impressed with ... the EASE of dialling in a good sound with lots of air and comparatively transparent compression on almost anything, but especially voice and drums. It is easy to underestimate the 4 knob eq but the little buttons make it very very flexible. Indeed : I have since used it daily and am glad I can use several instances. From the Unison plugins this for me is the easiest to use with the best results. Cool stuff UA.

Great for saturation, compression and suprise.
Alsways does something cool to your mixbus. Saturation and compression and with the element of suprise. Jump between presets and try out different settings.

This is Another Level!
The day i swapped from my previous interface to my Apollo X 6, i got blown away by audio definition of this gear like now i am hearing music at another level. Even the UAD plugins are the closest i ever heard comparing to the hardware versions. Good Job Universal audio . U brought it to another Level!!
