Stupendous subtle control
IMHO this is a better sub bus glue compressor than the api 2500. It’s great for the mix bus as well of course. Put two, one right after the other to knock off 1-2 db each and you’re sittin pretty. Simply amazing.

Amazing plugin but totally unusable
When will you make this plugin also for apollo?? Why only the native version?!? You know that the plugin is very greedy regarding DSP!! Why do I have so many DSP accelerator cards?!? For decoration?!? You have deteriorated greatly in recent years. I know that only profit is important to you, but also fulfill the wishes of your customers.

Really interesting!
I'm still figuring it out, I tested it for a while and just used for a mix; but I can definitively say that this plugin does things that are really interesting!
It's awesome that now I can "re-record" stuff done in a not so ideal way.

Considering how I can have a nice tube feeling which I have experienced in the analog recording studios in 1990's, this fairchild would be the closest so far. Now I am looking forward having Manley Collections which I expect to have the real studio work in 2000's.

Great Sounding and Versatile Channel Strip
Another Great UAD Plugin I really like the 2 options for the EQ section.
It's awesome sounding and I use it all over the place and find that it doesn't tax the CPU to heavily so you can easily use it across your project!

This thing has a pretty unique sonic signature. The mid range is just *tasty*. There are places where the LA2A works better, places where the Fairchild works better, and places where the DBX 160 works better. But on my particular scratch old, this thing is the bomb. Definitely do the trial and see if it fits what you’re trying to do. I’m loving it.
