It is not making a singer out of me… but if you can sing I think this one it's worth it… it really add a touch to the recordings, also for instruments.

Easy to Make Sound Good
I had other emulations of these guys, including the free versions that came with my Apollo. I figured that all of the hype about these things was...well, just that; hype. I mean how many compressors do we all have at this point, and how many friggin' compressors does a guy need? They had the stupid deal on them, so I bit; glad I was a hungry fish. My other compressors are rather quickly becoming wasted space on my hard drive.

All the sounds you just can't afford!!!
So it was expensive for a plugin, but I was not disappointed. This is well worth the spend if your after those classic sounds and you can't afford the real thing. I highly recommend

Gets the job done
Nice and easy was to get wide effects, with rich color but transparent quality sound. Like the fact yu can combine different settings. And the price is right.

Great but..
its awesome and everything but gives some kind of color sound a bit but yeah this one is probably specific one and should be used on instruments that need color or warmth.

relentless phase! beautiful spectrum! outstanding settings! dizzying sensitivity! inspiration from C1 to C8... . I love this work, the timbre of this piano is for everything and its amazing precision leaves it for many more instruments and of course for vocals. UA is always at the top

This preamp not only sounds warm and cosy, it does not only add another kind of saturation, but it adds DIMENSION to any sound. Everything you send through it sounds like if it was live recorded instead of ITB flat 2D. Every channel can benefit from this lovely preamp!

Wonderful sound!
This is just great. I love it and prefer it over the Native Instruments piano's (have 'm all). It just sounds wonderful. I love the room sound and wouldn't know why anyone would want to turn it off. It's such a big part of the sound and this fits like a glove.

Amazing!!!!
I just want to say I´ve had no experience with UAD before a student of mine told me about your Free Offer for the LA.-2A Tube Compressor. I downloaded it, and tried it out on a snare, and the sound was Amazing!!! I then bought the LA-2A Leveler Collection for 29€ or something. Incredible price!!! I then saw that the entire UAD Mixing Edition was on sale as an upgrade from the Free LA-2A for 215€. For that price I had to buy it, and I´m glad I did. So many amazing plugins in that bundle. Especially the 1176, and LA-2A, but the API, and Pultec are great as well. I´m a VERY happy customer!!!

What can I say. It’s a lexicon. I can’t tell the difference from my rack unit that I had back in the early 90s which I wish I should’ve have never sold . But this was an awesome deal on sale

Smooth and warm
Adds silk, crunch, smoothness all at once. Takes the brittle glassy sound out that digital bring I to a recording. Glad I got on sale. Great tool for acoustic guitar and make a big difference on fiddle and mandolin tracks. :)
