Solves my chorus issues when I need to use chorus , and fast!!!
I normally print to digital using the effect pedals I want but when I don't I find myself endlessly trying out various plugins that come with my daw or others, then endlessly tweaking.
This one was easy as I can still hear it once the mix is up and there are so few parameters it takes almost no time to adjust.
Chorus is a difficult pedal as it deals with phasing so the instrument can disappear once in place.
Not so with this one.

dsp and track count vs other tape recorders
In testing this has served really well to provide capabilities for use across multiple tracks with less dsp load. That surely makes it worth it.

This thing has meat on the bones!
Not too many plugins make you sit back and actually say 'WOW!' out loud to yourself. This thing literally did that to me after firing up the demo. The API Vision has become one of my all time favorite plugins, period. The response of the dynamics are about flawless as you'll get in a digital recreation and the EQ is lush and full of harmonics.
Don't expect an anemic emulation that's "clean", the Vision Channel Strip has saturation for days. It has meat on the bones and you'll most likely either love or hate that about it... Personally it blew me away... It's got attitude and soul, and a very different beast from another popular API emulation that's been around for quite some time now...

Nice to have the Roland Algorithms back
Sound the same as the RE.201 but it`s nice to have this wonderful Delay in the box

Api Vision
It is more transparent than Neve 1073 so I like t use it a lot with different instruments. It has a lot of option and I still learn it

1176 Legacy
I have only Legacy version but it is very good and I use it a lot on the tracks. The processor consumption is small so I can use it on my Apollo Twin

Brilliant
Easy to use with a warm and sweet sound and the possibility to drive it a little - What's not to like

Great
Parallel rev a on vox, slam it and that's close to done. Spitty in your face compression when you want and ..... blah blah blah we all like the 1176, this one is great.

First Time APIer

Might sell my original Urei 1176!
Those sound so good and close to their originals, I find myself reaching out for them instead of my Urei Rev. D when I'm recording. Couldn't be more happier!

All in one!
if you have this one you probably do not need any other reverb or delay... its so real so good for all applications.
sounds a bit vintage , but thats the thing i like most in it!
and the distortion that it has when you tweak it up it's very useful and sounds great too!
one of my go to plugins

The best Apollo Twin friend for tape emulator.
First of all, I have the all the UA tape emulations and I use them on my daily basis. Oxide gives me the tape sound that I need when I'm using on travel/hotel/home my Apollo Twin Duo, it´s DSP friendly and do not compromise the sound quality or resourses. Great sound and a real good deal for tape emulation, sometimes could replace Studer in some cases.

Nice Tape Distortion
This plugin gives a nice tape saturation, and is great on the mix bus.

Just like the hardware
I have the Warm Audio hardware version of the 1176 which is supposed to be pretty close the the actual 1176 if the reviews are accurate. I wanted to use it in more than 1 instance at a time and tried the Demo of the 1176 and was floored. The plugin is virtually identical to the hardware. For a fraction of the price this is a great deal and you get 3 different versions of it to boot.
I am very happy with this plugin. Thanks UAD

Gives my vocal a warm bright sound
Just upgraded from the Legacy version.... and YES, there is a big difference to the better, cant understand why some says it sounds the same?
I have two wishes though...
1. Why not work the same way as with the Legacy with the ability to put all units together with one click? With one preset-list for them all?
2. It would be even nicer if the user-interface was based on a photo from a real "rugged" unit, I know it doesent affect the sound...just the feeling. Otherwise, five thumps up :)

It's really chorus
I'm so happy cause this amazing effects back on sale. I recorded the bass guitar with analog chorus (Roland clone) with vibrato effect and I said the Brigade Chorus is very close to really analog chorus. I don't need to record bass or guitar or electric piano with analog effect, cause I have Brigade Chorus pedal.

Beast Mode
What is there to say, really? I love the whole collection but I use the LA-2A "gray" the most. It adds its characteristic "warmness" to pretty much everything it touches, especially vocals, and it can brign a bland mix back to life and give it a nice lil' punch. The Legacy version is decent but this collection is next level sh*t.

A wondrous density
Indeed, this one satisfies a tone that I have been searching for for sometime now. More than simply compress, it imparts a density and tone that works wonders on vocals and bass. Thank you UA!

Great tape sim, especially for the price.
I'm a sucker for tape plugs. I've tried all the competition, and this one is my go to. I'm looking to buy the Ampex and Studer plugs as well, because they have a little more flexibility, but the Oxide is still a phenomenal plug on its own. I love putting this on my Drum Buss because it tends to make the low end a little fuller and the top end a little more "silky." Real nice, buy it!
