Best tape emulation plugin out there
I've tried just about every tape plugin out there and this one to me seems the closest to the real thing. Close enough that I don't desire to have the real thing anymore.

Very handy channel strip
I put this on every channel in my project template and it really speeds up my workflow tremendously. I highly recommend it. Pay attention to the sales though because I bought this on sale for $149 and little over a week later it was $49. Sad faced clown about that but it is what it is.

The hardware Lexicon 224 cost is so high that instead that I am using my Apollo 16 as an external "hardware" effects box in conjunction with my hardware console. Sounds incredible! Beautiful reverbs...

Does what it says on the box!
I have other emulations of 1176, and they tend to have more bells and whistles . As is the case with the UAD La2a, but it seems to be the UAD ones that I use and prefer.

Vintage signature sound. Only.
Either it does the job, or not. Sounds very vintage, has almost no controls and rarely gets used. Got is as part of the bundle, not finding it useful at all

Works on everything
I’ve been trying many emulations, that one is my go to, because it’s a plug & play type of tool, and i appreciate not spending ages on tweaking knobs & stuff.
If only the Gang sync function had made it to the native version, i’d have put 5 stats hands down.

Impossible à faire fonctionner
Cela fait plus d'une semaine que je n'arrive pas à joindre le support d'uaudio, ils ne répondent pas aux messages que j'ai envoyés via l'application uaconnect ou via le site web.
Aucun des produits obtenus via le bundle du BF ne fonctionne.
Mon ilok est fonctionnel, je possède un nombre incalculable de librairies d'autres marques qui fonctionnent sans problème.
Là, tout semble valide, les licences sont bien visibles dans mon ilok cloud et pourtant les plugins sont floutés avec un message comme quoi le produit n'a pas de licence.
C'est inadmissible de ne pas avoir de réponse du support !
J'ai acheté le bundle du BF à 50 balles pour rien si ce n'est être frustré et en colère...
Ce n'est pas sérieux de traiter ses clients de la sorte.

Man UAD has made my life better.I'm a guy who's retired and doesn't have a lot of money and makes music basically for myself and NEVER thought I would be able to afford UAD plugins but I can tell UAD wants to help the little guy who doesn't make money from recordings but does it for fun...Thank you so much UAD!!!

Stunning
I have used RC-20, Sketch Cassette, and J37 for the last couple of years. While each of them have a specific sound that I love and still refer back to, Universal Audio has created the closest emulation to a real tape machine that only adds presence without losing any character.

I used this plugin on guitar, piano, vocals, bass, and drums in some fashion or another, and found to be a must have in my workflows. Clean, warmth, color, punch, and versatility is unmatched in my book. Thank you UA!

Beautiful and enchanting sound.
The plug-in also sounded great, although the actual equipment seemed to be very well received. I felt happy after listening to this sound.

Great all around compressor
I use the API 2500 in multiple ways, in the mix or for post mastering. I love it more for mastering its glues everything together and with the tone section really adds depth. I say for the sale price you shouldn’t need a review to help with the purchase JUST BUY IT. Otherwise this is an amazing plugin and I highly recommend it!

Icing on the Cake
I’m infatuated with this guy as of late! I’ve been strapping it to the end of my mix bus with some gentle tweaks and I haven’t regretted it yet. It’s a fantastic tape emulation that (in my opinion) goes toe-to-toe with Softube’s tape offering. Don’t hesitate to pick it up.

Yeah I tried it. It does make a warm difference. I’m not a pro but I did like the effect. It is a small change, but when mastering, everything little subtle change can result in a satisfying outcome.
