LA-3A is REALLY nice
Using it on my drums
BUT I kind of prefer the LA-2A a bit more

I should have purchased this year’s ago, but glad I’ve got it now. It has the classic sound you’d expect when you see the lexicon name. It’s a must have along side the 480l.
Also it’s great to have the native version in my DAW.

The pros said the LA-3A works great on electric guitars. They were absolutely right. Not sure why I took so long to purchase this unit. Don’t waste your time with other compressors for electric or acoustic guitars. Get yourself one today!

I but it for just one preset
I buy it for one preset, kk atmosphere. I also have the 480 version but the 224 is more atmospheric for me. I create a layer with raum reverb from native instruments and together I have a super atmospheric reverb , vangelis style ;)

Excellent Chorus Effect
Studio quality chorus here. Thick, warm sounding and lush.
Still learning the nuances of the unit. Great for synths and guitars amongst other instruments.
