Outstanding value - finally I can afford UAD quality!
I took advantage (without hesitation!) of the very special pricing for the Essentials bundle, having spent a few happy days with the free LA-2A. I had always wanted to check out the UAD native offerings but to be honest, the pricing was out of my range. I'm still struggling to get my business back on it's feet after the fallout from the pandemic all but destroyed it.
So, when first the free LA-2A and then the discounted bundles were announced, I leapt at the chance. For $49 (usually £299) the Essentials bundle represents extraordinarily good value and puts UAD quality at my fingertips.
My specific interest is the LA-2A and Pultec collections, and those are where I have spent most of my time so far. If the 1176 collection - even just one of them - had been included instead of the other plugins, I would have paid double, but that's really because I have no interest in the synth, and I already have a decent collection of reverb, tape and delay plugins. At the moment I can't afford the £299 (or even the current £149) asking price for the 1176 collection - and I'd probably only use one of them anyway!
Sonically, the plugins in the bundle (those that I have used so far) are outstanding. Like most of us, I can't compare them with original hardware units, so I can't comment on how accurate they are as emulations. But what I can say is the combination of the LA-2A and the Pultec EQP-1A has made a massive impact on vocals, both sung (other people's) and spoken (mine).
I'll be trying them out on other sources, specifically electric bass and acoustic guitar, as soon as I get a chance and I am very much looking forward to seeing how they perform. At the moment, though, for vocals they are superb. If the other bundled plugins are in the same league (and I have no doubt they will be) I'll almost certainly be retiring a few staples in my mixing arsenal.

I got for the discount $40 and am buzzing with it! Genuinely so impressed at the quality of plugins (but tbh I'm most using the free LA-2A hehe)

I just want to say I´ve had no experience with UAD before a student of mine told me about your Free Offer for the LA.-2A Tube Compressor. I downloaded it, and tried it out on a snare, and the sound was Amazing!!! I then bought the LA-2A Leveler Collection for 29€ or something. Incredible price!!! I then saw that the entire UAD Mixing Edition was on sale as an upgrade from the Free LA-2A for 215€. For that price I had to buy it, and I´m glad I did. So many amazing plugins in that bundle. Especially the 1176, and LA-2A, but the API, and Pultec are great as well. I´m a VERY happy customer!!!

Great collection at a great Cost!
The UAD saves the day yet again! This line of collection comes from one of the best plugin companies in the market with the seal of Trust from this legendary music giant! Great compressors, the LA2A collection along with the colour from Pultec Collections and the best sounding tapes (oxide) steal the show. Along with this, included in this package are time based effect processors, the pure plate and the galaxy tape echo that fill up the need to create, decorate and master the productions for every producer, artist, beatmaker, sound designer and every other enthusiast out there! A big treat from UAD!

My first UAD plugins. I really love them. Very good sound quality on everything I tried them. Just miss some good preamps NEVE, API, SSL or MANLEY to get 5 stars.

Gostei muito desta coleção de plugins são superiores não tem como reclamar, não goste por ter que activar com ilock cloud , sim pagámos porque não activar nas nossa máquina, nao todo momento e de esta com internet

Con i plugin che ho acquistato, ho alzato notevolmente il livello delle mie registrazioni, anche se amatoriali.

Great Plug-In's - Annoying authorisation/buggy UA licensing problems
The plug-ins sound fantastic, love the tape delay , the compressors and eq's.
However they are always showing up as not being installed/active license. If these are owned by the user, you should only need one authorisation and be able to use them without an internet connection. Quite annoying, but as I have said, they do sound amazing!

Ottimi plugin ma sincronizzazione da rivedere
i plugin suonano una meraviglia . Veramente migliorano i mix. Purtroppo sono un po' troppo pesanti di CPU e spesso creano problemi con la sincronizzazione tra ua control e ilok. Un altra pecca è la licenza solo sul Cloud. Comunque per l' offerta sono più che ottimi.
