The best maximizer I have ever used
I have used in the past many maximizers but none of them compare to the Precision Maximizer. Until recently I was working with Waves L3 LL maximizer and it was ok but after I begun using PM everything changed. L3 sounds neutral and the songs sound like they are just louder but not alive, and at bigger RMS values it begins to give distorsion. The PM is another story. The songs sound alive and even at bigger RMS values you can feel the dynamics very natural. The song doesn't sound overcompressed. I think the PM is the best maximizer I have ever used. Pls excuse writing errors if any. Keep up the good work UAD!!!

Precision Maximizer Plug-In
I was amazed just how much this plug-in can do for a simple unit.
Whether on individual tracks or on the mix bus, it really offers a plethora of sound shaping.
I had a particular mix that was lacking depth of warmth. By dialling in the 'Shape' you are able to add layers of body that would otherwise be missing!

A little disappointed
Loved everything I own from UAD until now. I regret having bought this plug. I don't think it brought anything to my mixes that I didn't already have. Sorry.

I thought I'd try this Plug-In out after watching the videos and all. I tried it, bought it, and now I always add it to my drum bus and mastering fader. Super great tool!

Well to be honest ,I have not had a lot of time to use the precision maximizer yet, but have demoed it a bit and as usual UA plugs are always as advertised and very transparent when they are supposed to be and colorful when emulating the classics.

Works Great
I have used this one in the demo mode then had to buy it. It works great when I'm doin my main mixes it gives it the edge/boost to hear things at the higher level when doin an A/B from high to lo levels. And the presets will get ya dialed in right close, 75% of the time. I tend to use it a lot more than I thought I would. Takes a lil time to get used to it but it works great once you figure out where to use it...GREAT TOOL!!
