Just like the REAL Channel Strip
In My 26 years of Audio Engineering Work I had the PLEASURE to use a Neve 88RS. And This Strip by UA is SPOT on !! I Use it almost Daily . Rupert Like Al Schmitt Agrees as do I if you can Not afford a 88RS This Fits like a glove !!

Fantastic sounding plugin!
This is one of the only plugins that almost sounds TOO good - you can do almost anything with the EQ and it sounds pleasant. I admittedly don't use this plugin too often as its on the clean side but it can be a workhorse if you learn it properly and on the right tracks it can be amazing.

i've never heard the realy 1073 preamp, but this emulation just sounds and works great with the UNISON technology. It has a lot of character, so it must sound like the real thing.

Love it!
What a great plug-in this is! Of all the EQ plug-ins I have (including other UA plug-ins) this one sounds the most analog and musical to my ears and gives great results without a lot of tweaking. If you don't have it yet I'd really suggest to give it a try!

Heard a lot of great things about this. I've used it on vocals and acoustic guitar and must say it sounds fantastic.

Amazing color and tone
After demoing the 1073 plugin, I knew I had to buy it. The slap bass preset is amazing.
Separately, using the 1073 on the master track instantly adds beautiful tone and color to the mix.
For tracking guitar, it works wonderfully. I'm a tone snob and the Neve definitely takes care of any issues that I had when going DI.
For vocals, it's amazing as well. The EQ and preamp presets translate into clean, smooth vocals with that analog color

If I'm not using SSL, It is this 88 that I will be using. That being said, it doesn't mean it is better than SSL or something. It is all about feeling. If Neve works better on the project that I'm working on I chose Neve if not SSL. in conclusion, I recommend anyone to see this plugin. It is smooth sound comparing to the SSL which is a bit aggressive to me. So another flavor to my collection. I really have one wish though. UAD to give us improved DSP card. Thanks.

Very good eq!!!
This eq helps shaping high frequencies in a musical way and I tend t use it more than the 1081. Highly recommended!!

Neve 1073 Preamp & EQ Collection
If i could only have One plugin this would be it! In Unison mode it's absolutely great, from clean to saturated. In legacy or regular eq mode the colours of tone are spot on! This is my go to in Console. I am also using analog class A gear and they are easy to use with the Unison Neve 1073. Mic's sound clear, crisp, full and warm. Please tell me you are working on Neve Shelford 1073 modelling. I should have bought the Neve 1073 collection at the beginning, it's all good I have it now. Thanks!!

I use it on everything... the mid section is awesome..
maybe for the hi.freq on vocals i prefer the 73 or a tube eq.
but the filters and the mid-low are amazing.

You get what you pay for: the perfect strip for everything. Works great on vocals, acoustic instruments and even synths. I don't have the original BEAST to compare this plugin with but after hearing what it can do I will sure use it on every project from now on. I have wished this plugin for a long time now and I finally got it. Long live NEVE sound! Great job UA! Thank you!

Yes very good and clean. A Neve channel strip on every Cubase channel on mixdown. With DSP and memory to spare, on the PCIe Quad. What can I say, always UAD do it again!
