I purchased this plugin for real analog simulation sound.

This will add a warm to your tracks. So far I've mostly used it on the Master Fader as well as on bass and vocals with very good results. Very pleased.

Great for adding tape sheen to masters
I am still learning this plug in, but just turning it on adds depth and tape feel to tracks on the mastering bus. It is the best tape emulation I have heard.

I was amazed when I put it at the end of my plywood upright bass channel chain. The bass sounds forward, wider, and clear. Hollowness is diminished.

Adds the Tape Flavor Well
Gives character to a sterile-sounding mix. Used it in a mastering situation to add a little bit of that tape saturation/natural compression. Tracking to it gives your tracks that gushy-tapey feel. Very tweakable.

Proving Them Wrong! This plugin ROCKS!
To all the people who say that mastering "in the box" will never be as good as mastering with hardware gear, UAD is proving them wrong. With my Apollo Twin Duo and Satellite TB Quad paired with all the analog plugins, my home studio is virtually no different from any professional studio. This tape plugin literally breathes life into your songs. So many parameters and controls to get the sound that you want! 10/10.
