Superb
Just like the hardware, I really love it. The warmth and the depth - this is my favourite software reverb plugin.

Lexicon 224
Excellent reverb! Great flexibility and gets the reverb sound that I'm looking for every time! It's not too DSP intensive either which is good. I usually use it as a send and send things through it and that helps too. Great reverb emulation! Classic Lexicon sound.

Sweet Verb
Simple. Easy to use. Instant sounds that remind you of the hardware unit.
Only you have it in the box. You don't have to recall it. And there aren't issues with noise or hiss. Unless you want it.
Very cool plug in!

One of the greatest reverb at home, for this price!
Thanks the UAD team for great job.
Hope it will open new ways to great music...

Lexicon 224
This is by far the best reverb I have ever heard in a plug in. I have a lot of reverbs and this is just incredible. Very warm and fat sounding as you would expect from Lexicon. Awesome job highly recommended.

A Classic Reborn
There is only one thing that can be said about this plugin. PHENOMENAL! Probably the best emu of Lexicon reverbs I've heard (including those MADE BY lexicon). Has all the character of the hardware unit with some nice (albeit rarely used) additions. I was able to recreate an old favorite in seconds. Now if they would make an external controller that could hook directly up to the plugin....

Smooth like butter…
This has become my go-to reverb for everything! Very smooth on vocals. Nice ambience on drums. Absolutely love this reverb, well worth the money spend. I think the only thing that could top this is if UAD modeled the Bricasti M7. Thanks again UAD for making incredible products!!

Best Plugin Reverb
I tried the plates and convolutions and even Ocean Way, but I prefer the sound and flexibility of this reverb.
The tactile controls and the distinctive sound did it for me. I will use no other reverb for lead instruments, vocals or snare.
If you would like to hear how this sounds on vocals and snare check out https://soundcloud.com/rialety.
Tip for processing snare: Duplicate your snare track into 2 or more tracks and process different parts of the beat/song differently. For instance, on my track "Steppin Out", I processed the snare on the front beat with a very dry reverb, and for the back beat, I opened it up for much more decay. This gives a real groove to the song by affecting the listener with a sense of eb and flow. Buy it

Just wonderful
I have the hardware version of this in my commecial facility and have really missed that beautiful trail in my mastering suite until now.
This works just like my hardware version and sound just as great.
Again what can I say UA nailed it again.
Thanks Guys and Girls at UA Audio

My favorite reverb by a longshot
I have the NI versions of the lexicon and was hoping they would save me from having to get this. They didn't. Imagine my excitement with the design your own bundle for $400 when I had this, studer, and ocean way still to acquire.
I had originally tried the actual lexicon reverb plugs and found them to be difficult to use and generally overbearing. The sound of the 224 is just beautiful. I love it!

So nice!
Merci UA!

Lush and Spacious
This reverb plug-in is lush and spacious and adds lot of quality to my mixes and sounds just like real thing. Universal audio never disappoints I love this Plug-in.

lexicon 224
Best sounding digital verb that ive owned. I was mixing a cd for an artist, demo'd this unit, then went back and replaced almost all of the lead vocal reverbs with the 224. just sounds amazing...

224 is good, but limited.
Great reverb! However it only work well on certain sources as it is somewhat limited in editing parameters. I have the Lexicon PCM reverb bundle which I find myself using more. But for the money and quality, the 224 is a good buy.

Digital reverb plug-in to add the smooth reverb to your tracks
With my purchase the UAD hardware, the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb was one of my first acquisitions and I don´t regret. It contributes strongly to the quality of my mixes by adding the space and tonal changes to Snares, HiHats or other instruments. What I appreciate most compared to other native based plugins is its analogous warm sound.
A must-have plug-in if you want to lift up your mix result.

Just buy it!
Who cares if the plugins are not 100% identical, what matters is they enhance the sound. I have used Waves and other plugins but UA offer a fatness which the others don't. To me it's a mute point if analogue sounds better than digital plugins because it will go digital, its cheaper and if enough people buy into it then companies will have no choice but to keep improving the digital world until it becomes better than analogue. This or any other UA plugin is the best you are going to get so demo it have fun and try to not think of comparing it to the hardware unit as I bet if you stuck them side by side not knowing which was which you would choose the plugin and the hardware on certain choices. Great plugin, great reverb and great company!

I became to live in a new virtual space but the sound is more real than before.

This reverb sits nice in the mix
I have some nice Lexicon style plugins ,,, But when I use this one Its more like the real deal ,,, Love the input /Output controls too . I can bring more of it in the mix without stepping all over everything. Nice Presets!

2nd review after more than a year of use.
When I compare the sound of audio today to 15 years ago, it seems a lot dryer, reverb tails are much shorter but the audio itself seems much more robust, multilayered and hard hitting. Back when the hardware Lexicon 224 was new, those long reverb tails were part of the culture of music. Snare drums, lead vocals etc. The way we are mixing is always changing. I don't necessarily use reverb to create long tails. I use reverb by aux bussing certain elements of the mix through the Lexicon and placing them behind the audio by using the pre-delay and depth controls. The Lexicon 224 is still my choice reverb for this task due to the fact the unit is so easily eq'd and so rich sounding. Really adds a nice thick and supportive layer.
