Good, but no sidechain support when using with UAD-2
It's just a shame the UAD-2 version for Apollo does not support sidechain, only the native seems to have this, otherwise good compressor.

Having the API Emulation is just astounding!
The only thing I would've done is bought the Neve Emulation but I'm not sure that'll every happen. That being said, I've never worked on an API console so I don't know what to compare it to, but to my unadulterated ears, this is the best thing I bought from UA other than the LA 2A. I love everything about this bundles from the 2 bus, pre's and channel strip. Combined with master tape and channel tape, I have warmth and studio sound beyond what I could've ever hoped for. You won't regret getting this.

Sounds beautiful. Try API summing on your 2 track mix (via buss) and then add Neve summing on the main. Sweet as candy.

As I already owned a few of the bundled API plugins I waited for the emulation bundle to finally go on sale to get the bundle, and so glad that I took this dive into more API waters. The summing alone is an absolute game changer. And both my tracks and buses have come alive using nothing but this emulation. Having the choice of the two EQs is also an awesome addition. Yet another convincing addition to my LUNA arsenal, it's hard to go back other DAWs after this.

Low on price, DSP, and barrier to entry
This plug is so simple it’s awesome! Great to throw across multiple inputs to get a whole drum kit a pseudo api console type effect. So easy to use. Clean when used conservatively. Great color when pushed! Love the unison preamp simplicity!
